We are running two felting workshop on Wednesday 16th of October 9-12.30pm (participants) and Wednesday 30th of October 9-12.30pm (open to the community) at Studio 92. The cost for the morning session for each participant will be $10.00 for materials and amenities. There will also be a cost for staff support from the participants NDIS plan to the level of support required. Please let your clients know about this special event and where possible encourage them to attend to help us make this event a success. Registrations for this event to Sarah Grimmer (Studio 92 Coordinator) and please indicate the level of support required.
The tree will become a focal piece of the gallery which we can then re-purpose and create new decorations for each season. Felted green summer leaves, felted autumn leaves and a mandala around the roots for winter. The tree could be also used in other decorative ways and for other celebratory events.
This will give participants the the chance to work alongside an established artist

The workshop will also have the added benefit of upskilling participant carers and add to what they can offer participants both here and in other programs.
