Enterprise Manager

SkillsConnection requires the assistance of an Enterprise Manager.  The primary purpose of this role is to provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, business support and supervision to Jiffy Services and Food-A-Roma (FAR) businesses as well as fully develop, implement, and monitor the Assisted Disability Employment (ADE) programs in those businesses.  When required, some back-up support will be required by the Corporate Services Manager,

The successful applicant will ideally have business experience with well-developed people management skills. Some experience in MYOB will be an advantage.

Quality and Safety Coordinator

Full-Time

SkillsConnection requires the assistance of a suitably qualified, detail focussed, self-motivated Quality &  Safety Coordinator on a full-time basis in our Colac Head Office.

The successful applicant will have a diverse range of responsibilities and must be able to work and communicate with staff, coordinators and management, verbally and in writing.  While having the ability to work with minimal supervision, SkillsConnection strives for a Team approach in getting work done.

The successful incumbent will be involved with Bus and Vehicle Safety Systems, Auditing and Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement Planning, Maintaining the COVID Register, Compliance, HR, Incident Reporting, OH&S, Reporting, and other Miscellaneous Tasks that arise.  The role requires a high level of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Support Coordinator

Two Days Per Week

Coordinator – Support Coordinator

SkillsConnection is looking to employ a Support Coordinator for two days per week.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of certificate 4 in Disability and a strong knowledge of the NDIS and local services and supports.

The primary purpose of this role is to support individuals to implement their NDIS plan. All coordinators have a role in supporting, mentoring  direct support staff  and coordinating  and supporting the day to day business and program areas of the Community Connection business unit; to ensure the provision of high quality, responsive, individualised and supportive business and program activities and services; to ensure contractual compliance with the requirements of relevant funding bodies (eg: DHHS & NDIS  ); and to ensure appropriate management and reporting for all clients and employees.

SkillsConnection is URGENTLY looking to recruit  people to work in our In-Home Support and / Or Personal Care Areas. We are looking for qualified and or experienced people to support people with high level support requirements with all aspects of daily life. Minimum shift is 4 hours.  There are day, evening and night shift available. We are URGENTLY seeking to employ friendly, helpful people with excellent communication abilities who work well autonomously and as part of a team.

We prefer experienced and qualified staff (disability and/or aged care qualifications) but we are happy to consider applicants with little or no experience as full training and support will be provided.

Our wide range of programs and support packages means we can offer applicants a broad variety of work, working hours and options to fit their lifestyle, personal interests and talents.

Successful applicants will be trialed on a casual or probationary basis.

Those who meet our high standards may be offered contracts.

Alternatively, you may also choose to remain as part of our casual staff pool.
